Kathmandu, June 15: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare CP Mainali has said that the government was working to introduce disabled-friendly programme.

Speaking at a programme here today, DPM Mainali said that as part of the programme, differently abled-friendly environment would be created for people with disabilities and physical infrastructure would be constructed in this regard.
He said that differently abled persons could contribute to the economic prosperity of the country if they are provided with the opportunity to explore their capacity and utilise it.
He further said that the government was serious to make differently abled people independent, informing that efforts were underway to formulate policies and programmes for them. RSS
